Tidepool: Managed database template

Postgres that scales to zero and back.

For databases and backend services: an ember hero with a copyable command, a live bento, security controls, a usage calculator, a quote wall, searchable FAQs and a CLI close.

About the Tidepool template

Tidepool is for databases and backend services. An ember hero with a copyable command, a live bento, security controls and a compute calculator lead to a quote wall, a searchable FAQ grouped by topic and a terminal close.

Postgres that scales to zero and back. It is a complete managed database landing page for React and Tailwind CSS 4, assembled from 9 Charcoal UI sections.

Who Tidepool is for

  • Serverless Postgres and databases.
  • Backend-as-a-service products.
  • Caching and queue services.
  • Data infrastructure.

What is inside

9 sections, top to bottom:

  • Navbar Floating: A glass pill that hides on scroll down, with a gliding hover highlight and a mobile sheet.
  • Hero Ember: Centred headline over drifting embers, with an announcement pill, two calls to action and a copyable install command.
  • Features Bento: A bento grid where every tile is a working component, not a screenshot.
  • Features Security: Trust section with certification seals, the controls behind them and a live uptime gauge.
  • Pricing Calculator: Usage calculator: drag seats and volume, toggle add-ons and watch an itemised monthly total update.
  • Testimonials Wall: A masonry wall of quotes with ratings, revealed as you scroll.
  • FAQ Search: Help-centre FAQ with instant search, highlighted matches and topic chips.
  • CTA Terminal: Developer CTA with a copyable install command beside a terminal that runs it.
  • Footer Columns: Brand, four link columns, a newsletter field and a bottom bar.

How it is built

The calculator uses compute hours and add-ons you define. Every section is a separate Charcoal UI section, so you can reorder, remove or restyle any of them, and the accent colour is one CSS variable on the page wrapper.

Templates are part of Charcoal UI Pro. One seat covers all 100 templates, 107 sections and 300 Pro components. The command installs the page and every section and component it uses, so it runs the moment it lands.
