About Wallet Card
Wallet Card stacks payment cards in a leather pocket with their tops peeking out. Pick one and it slides up and out to show its balance, while the others tuck down into the wallet.
Wallet Card is an interactive effect for React 19, styled with Tailwind CSS 4 and animated with Motion. It drops into Next.js, Vite, Remix or Astro through the shadcn CLI as a single file you own.
When to use Wallet Card
- Banking and fintech apps.
- Card management screens.
- Loyalty and gift cards.
- Payment method pickers.
How it works
Cards are buttons with aria-expanded, positioned by springs. The pocket sits above the cards so they look tucked inside, and reduced motion moves them without the spring.
Pointer effects have a keyboard or static equivalent, and nothing that matters depends on hover alone. With prefers-reduced-motion on, it holds still or settles instantly instead of animating.
Customizing Wallet Card
Every prop is documented in the API reference above with its type and default. The ones you will reach for first are listed here.
Style it with className like any other element. It only uses your theme's tokens, so it follows light and dark mode without extra work.
