About Stat Card
Stat Card is a KPI tile whose number counts up as it enters view, with a delta pill and a sparkline that draws itself. Dashboards feel live from the first glance.
Stat Card is a display component for React 19, styled with Tailwind CSS 4 and animated with Motion. It drops into Next.js, Vite, Remix or Astro through the shadcn CLI as a single file you own.
When to use Stat Card
- SaaS and analytics dashboards.
- Admin overviews.
- Investor and metrics pages.
- Stats rows on landing pages.
How it works
The value counts with a spring once in view, and the delta colour follows its sign, with invertDelta for metrics where down is good. The sparkline is an SVG path.
Interactive parts are buttons or links with accessible names, decorative layers are hidden from assistive tech, and everything is reachable by keyboard. With prefers-reduced-motion on, it holds still or settles instantly instead of animating.
Customizing Stat Card
Every prop is documented in the API reference above with its type and default. The ones you will reach for first are listed here.
The Customize panel next to the preview lets you change label, value, delta, invertDelta live, and the Code tab updates to match, so the snippet you copy already carries your values.
- label (string).
- value (number).
- delta (number): Percent.
- format (Intl.NumberFormatOptions).
- data (number[]): Sparkline series.
- invertDelta (boolean, default false): Show a decrease as good news.
